Development of Emission Scenario Documents for Textile and Pulp and Paper Sectors |

Crechem recently completed the development of Emission Scenario Documents (ESDs) for
Canadian textile and pulp and paper sectors to facilitate the risk assessment work at
Environment Canada. An ESD describes production processes, sources, and use patterns
relating to chemical pollutants. It is a standard tool used by member countries of the
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to quantify environmental releases.
