Textile Industry Survey of Chemical Products Containing Endocrine Disruptors |

Crechem recently completed a survey to gather data about the use of chemical products
containing endocrine disrupting nonylphenol (NP) and its ethoxylates (NPEs) by
weaving mills and fibre producers. The data gathered has been used to assist
Environment Canada in developing and implementing pollution prevention requirements
for the Canadian textile industry. The survey covered over 100 companies, including all
weaving mills, fibre producers and textile chemical suppliers in Canada.
